Justin Bieber, who's sophomore album Believe hit stores earlier this week, stopped by Power 105.1′s Breakfast Club this morning and opened up about dabbling in hip hop, hanging with Floyd "Money" Mayweather and his upcoming basketball movie with Mark Wahlberg.

Believe features a number of guest spots from sought after rappers, including DrakeBig Sean and Nicki Minaj. Bieber says his interest in hip hop stems from his upbringing.

"Even since I was young, my dad and mom both introduced me to hip hop music, so incorporating that into my music is something that I like to do," he said.

Asked which artists he was listening to most, the 18-year-old pop star cited Big Sean, saying he had recently recorded a song for Sean's album as well. Bieber also said he had done a track with Rick Ross.

Another of Bieber's unexpected friendships is with the superstar boxer Floyd "Money" Mayweather. Biebz said The Money Team boss reached out to him and the two hit it off.

"He asked me to walk into the ring with him and I did and it was fun," he said. Biebz did some training with Mayweather before the boxer went to prison earlier this month on a domestic battery charge.

"I haven't spoken to him since he's been in, but right before he went he sent me a text saying 'I'm really proud of you and everything you're doing,'" Bieber said.
