My God, is this kid everywhere or what? I'll admit it, my Twitter profile reads Belieber, no shame but actually an inside joke that went to far with some friends after we went to see Never Say Never in 3D. No, we were not drinking adult beverages nor were we on any mind altering substances, we just wanted to see it. The three of us all age 21-23. Whatever. Leggo! (As Justin would say).
This special on NBC started out with Justin in the studio recording his new album, Believe which "dropped" on Tuesday of this week. I purchased, or rather completed the album purchase at 12:03 am Tuesday. Again, I have no shame even though I may lose followers for this post. Sorry, not sorry. – Onward, they filmed him with all of his celebrity features & friends on the album, in particular Drake & it was pretty awesome to see them in the studio together seeing as "Right Here" is one of my favorite tracks off the album. Nice touch, NBC.
Here we are on show day: Justin can't get out of the hotel room in Europe. This is a problem since he has a show to do. They get him out in a BMW X5 & all of the crazies Beliebers swarm the car as if that's somehow going to make the driver stop & let him out to meet with them? Justin did meet & greet some fans which was really nice. He met one of his biggest fans that got ride with Scooter to the show. Imagine her excitement, riding with Justin Bieber's manager to Justin's show. She was on cloud 792, let alone cloud 9.
Next up, Justin performed a few songs before introducing Carly Rae Jepsen. Ya know, that girl that sings that ridiculously catchy "Hey, I just met you & this is crazyyy but here's my number, so call me maybe?" Yeah, her! He then joined her on stage & lip synched her song & danced along with her for the remainder. This is clearly a kid who isn't an @$$hole doesn't take himself too seriously, a good trait to have especially with his success and fame.
Next he's in Paris doing some interviews. We finally see how neurotic he is about his hair.
He talks about growing up underprivileged & his album Believem as well as what he believes in. He then "fakes out " a 5 year old boy with high fives followed by fans singing "Boyfriend" to him & then a killer drum solo.
THEN: He gets on a balcony & sings to a bunch of fans, his song, "One Less Lonely Girl." IN FRENCH!
What can he NOT do? Is there anything? I'm beginning to think not. All of this talent & Selena Gomez. My dude is SET!
Let's not even talk about the sneaker collection.
The actual show in Paris was in a secret location, no tweets, etc. as to avoid any riots. He sang "Be Alright" acoustic and then hit his head on a glass wall which gave him a concussion. His whole team was panic & this is where we leave off until tomorrow. Stay tuned!
