During Justin Bieber's whirlwind promotional tour of New York City last week, the singer sat down with 92.3 NOW/New York to talk about his new release Believe.
On the album there's a song called "Maria" where Justin openly addresses the false accusations of him fathering a fan's baby last year.
Justin said he wanted to take the opportunity to explain his side of the story.
"I just wanted to be able to talk about it because in interviews I hadn't been able to really share my side of the story," he said. "So, being able to talk about it on my album and share that, is really cool."
Bieber made sure to clarify that this is a one time thing.
"For future people that are just going to be like 'Oh, yeah, I'm going to say that he had my baby just so I can get on a song', I'm not going to do it again," he said. "I'm not writing another part 2 to another girl's name on my next album, so don't be saying crazy stuff, just trying to get me. Yeah, no."
