Rihanna and other guests at the Corinthian Hotel in London were evacuated due to a fire in one of the elevator shafts. A minor fire broke at around 6:00 a.m. and about 300 guests including the Barbadian-born singer were rushed out of the premises.

It did not take long for the singer to post photos of the incident on Instagram from the safety of a London cab. Rihanna captioned the photo with "Roamin da streets since 6am! Fyah in da telly #evacuationlife."

Since the singer is safe from harm, fans can expect Rihanna to continue with her European concert tour. She appeared with Jay-Z on BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend festival last Sunday, June 24. Rihanna is also set to perform at the Wireless Festival from July 6 to 8 at London's Hyde Park.

On a side note, two L.A. cops will not face charges for supposedly leaking pictures of Rihanna beaten and all bruised up in the face. The photos were used as evidence during Rihanna's assault case against Chris Brown. Sources said that the officers received money from a celebrity gossip website for the pictures.

Evidence was not sufficient to prove that the website paid the officers money for the photos but the two police officers may still get fired or receive disciplinary action from their superiors. Chris Brown was arrested for that beating incident on February 8, 2009.
