Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Alec Baldwin is to avoid prosecution over his clash with a photographer earlier this year after officials in New York reportedly dropped their investigation.
The “30 Rock” star scuffled with New York Daily News snapper Marcus Santos outside an NYC courthouse on June 19, shortly after the actor obtained a marriage license for his wedding to Hilaria Thomas.
Santos filed an official complaint with police, alleging Baldwin punched him on the chin, but the case has now been dropped by prosecutors, according to the New York Post.
A source tells the newspaper, “No charges will be brought. The matter has been dropped entirely. His (Baldwin’s) conduct did not rise to the level of a crime.”
