Michelle Williams is ravenous… and the only thing that satisfy her hunger is a small golden man!
The actress has spent most of 2012 relaxing (aka getting busy with Jason Segel), but now she's looking to return to work — with a vengeance!
Mz. Williams is determined to get the leading role in British director Saul Dibb's new flick, Suite Francaise.
If she gets the part, Michelle would play Lucille, a woman left under the supervision of her domineering mother-in-law when the husband she never really loved heads off to war. So, (of course) her only escape is playing the piano. The young German officer assigned to stay at their home is a former composer, and the attraction between him… well, we don't want to ruin it for you!
Here's the math for those of you playing at home: Period piece + cheating + war +learning a new instrument + accent = OSCAR GOLD!!
We know it's a little early to nominate Williams for the award — after all, she isn't even officially cast yet. Howeves, after three nominations, we reckon she has a faaaabulous speech just waiting to be tearfully read! And we are sooo ready to hear it!
Good luck, Michelle!
