Anne Hathaway gets to sing ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ for the new Cameron Mackintosh Hollywood blockbuster version of ‘Les Miserables’.

‘I Dreamed A Dream’, from the original musical, catapulted Susan Boyle to fame three years ago after she appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009.
The new film version of ‘Les Miserables’ featured Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Javert and Anne Hathaway as Fantine.
Russell Crowe has been a long-time musician after forming the band 30 Odd Foot of Grunts (TOFOG) in Sydney in 1980.
TOFOG released three albums before they dissolved and Crowe went on to form The Ordinary Fear Of God (another TOFOG). So far there has only been one album from TOFOG2).
‘Les Miserables’ gives Russell the chance to once again showcase his lungs with solo performances on ‘Stars’ and ‘Javert’s Suicide’ as well as a collaboration with Hugh Jackman for ‘The Confrontation’.
The movie also stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter who perform together for ‘Master of the House’.
The ‘Les Miserables’ soundtrack will be released tomorrow (December 21, 2012) just ahead of the movies release over Christmas.
