Leave it to Kanye West to drop the biggest pop culture news story of 2012 on the very last day of the year. At his final concert at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City, Ye announced to the audience that he and his reality TV star girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, are expecting a baby.
E! News confirmed the baby news, reporting Kim is 12 weeks along.
Several of Kim’s family members have already tweeted out their excitement over the KimYe baby. “Im a happy girl !!!!!!!!! Wowza!” tweeted Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner. “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!”
“KIMYE!!!!!” tweeted sister Khloe. “Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!”
“Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can!” added Kourtney. “Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!”
Baby KimYe will be the first child for both Kim and Kanye.
