A freelance photographer in his late 20′s, Chris Guerra died this Tuesday after being hit by a car. He had been following around Justin Bieber for the whole of the day and was struck by a vehicle whilst following the teen singing sensation’s ferrari to the parking lot of the Four Seasons hotel in L.A. But was it a freak accident or something more sinister?
A photography agency has revealed that just an HOUR before the photographer was hit by a car he had called them with news that he had spotted Bieber smoking marijuana. Guerra told the agency, “Man, you won’t believe my luck. It’s pretty dead in L.A.. Everybody thinks Justin and Selena are in Mexico, but they’re not.”
He also claimed to see Selena Gomez’s car outside the hotel, suggesting that the young sweethearts may be rekindling their relationship.
Apparently, Guerra was not aware that Bieber wasn’t in the ferrari as he began to follow it. The car was actually being driven by Bieber’s protégé, rapper Lil Twist. The rapper had been hanging out with Bieber at the hotel but nobody knows as of yet why he decided to leave in the singer’s car without him. Bieber’s reps have said “It’s really sad that people are trying to push a story without the facts so soon after this tragic accident. Justin was not present or involved in this incident and the focus should remain on honoring the memory of the victim.” There have been no statements on the marijuana allegation as of yet.
In another bizarre twist, Bieber’s friend Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter in a series of rants about the incident. She first blamed Guerra for his death, saying “Your mom teaches you when you’re a child not to play in the street.” She then urged people not to throw the blame at Bieber and also tweeted, “Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in ’13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn’t Princess Di enough of a wake up call?!” Luckily, the photographer who snapped Cyrus smoking a bong of salvia a couple of years ago was not hit by a car straight after leaking the gossip…
Was it a tragic accident caused by a paparazzi trying to get pictures or something set up to shut him up? Just like Princess Diana’s death, we’ll probably never know the whole truth.
