We've got bad news this morning, guys.
The photo above shows the scene of a fatal New Year's Day accident.
During another sweltering case of Bieber fever, a paparazzo was KILLED on the streets of El Lay after chasing Justin Bieber's Ferrari down in hopes of a photo.
The incident occurred Tuesday evening following a traffic stop on Sepulveda Blvd. After the Biebs' white Ferrari was pulled over by California Highway Patrol, the photog got up close for a snapshot.
Naturally, CHP urged the pap to move away, OUT of the dangerous situation. Unfortunately, the photog didn't escape harm's way in time as he was struck by an oncoming vehicle and killed.
He died for a Bieber photo… and Justin wasn't even in the car! According to sources, a friend was borrowing the recognizable vehicle at the time.
Wow… that's just tragic.
Law enforcement sources report that neither drugs nor alcohol played a part in the accident, and an investigation has begun.
We're sure this event will cue many conversations, especially ones doubting the ethics of paparazzi tactics, but right now we just want to extend our thoughts to the loved ones of the deceased.
Hopefully this will inspire other paps to act more cautiously on the roads… FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED!!!
