People’s Choice Awards 2013 winners were revealed last night in Los Angeles. And with nothing for Justin Bieber, The Wanted beating One Direction for the Breakout Artist prize and Katy Perry trouncing Justin Bieber in two categories, the question is being asked: were the People’s Choice Awards 2013 results rigged?
The fans themselves vote for all the winners at the 39th People’s Choice Awards (2013). But some fans were left bemused by the results, where surprise hits were “The Hunger Games” and Katy Perry. UK boy band One Direction might have scooped two awards, Favorite Song and Favorite Album, but this has left some people asking how they could then miss out on winning the Breakout Artist trophy which went to their rival The Wanted.
Justin Bieber got five nominations including one for his fans club, but won nothing. What happened Beliebers?
Not surprisingly, Twitter is buzzing with fans who can’t accept that The Wanted won over One Direction, Katy Perry over Justin Bieber and Psy in the music video category and even the KatyCats defeated Beliebers and Directioners.
Many are now accusing the People’s Choice Awards 2013 results of being riggedas rigged.
Before you join them, though, bear in mind that Katy Perry always does well at the People’s Choice Awards, and she just won as Favorite Female Artist for the third consecutive year.
