COP Leader Prakash Ramadhar has announced the suspension of Anil Roberts
Suspension. That’s the final decision following a meeting of the Congress of the People executive with Sport Minister, Anil Roberts yesterday.
Minister Roberts met with the party’s officials yesterday evening at the party’s Charlieville office however according to COP Leader, Prakash Ramadhar, the Sport Minister was uncooperative.
The meeting came amid continued allegations that Minister Roberts was featured in a video posted to social media in recent weeks. The video sees a man, who is alleged to be the government minister, handling the illegal narcotic, marijuana.
Sport Minister Anil Roberts has beens suspended from the COP
Yesterday, the COP leader said Minister Roberts has been officially banned from participating in all COP party activity. Mr. Ramadhar said his party is ready to respond in court if the need arises. He said Minister Roberts’ suspension will remain in effect until there is more clarity on the video.
