Bing, which is Microsoft’s ‘decision engine,’ has released the top 50 items Canadians searched for over the past number of months (May 2013-May 2014).
Apparently Canadians love retail outlet Canadian Tire the most as it came in the first spot. The reasoning was due to the “harsh Canadian winter, mixed with dreams of summer BBQ season.” Surely, Canadians love Tim Hortons, but not as much as Timmies came in 12th spot. Ahead of them was Air Canada, MLS, OLG, Environment Canada, The Bay, TSX, Rob Ford, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Justin Bieber. I can understand Rob Ford, but even he loves Tim Hortons, as does Bieber.
Perhaps Canadian Tire won this prestigious award because they demoed delivering a box of Timbits by drone.
