Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber split was made official as the ‘Falling Down’ singer confirmed her separation from the ‘Boyfriend’ singer. Rumours about the break-up have been running wild in the media prompted by the growing distance between the couple following reports about a third wheel in the relationship between the stars.
The Disney star allegedly confirmed the news in a response to a question from a friend at a party. Selena Gomez said that she was done with Justin Bieber and some reports claim that she has asked Bieber to maintain a distance from her till she can get over him.
The ‘Hit The Lights’ singer was reported to be flirting with ‘The Hunger Games’ star, Josh Hutcherson while recent reports suggest that Selena was also spotted in close proximity to Monte Carlo co-star, Luke Bracey at the Golden Globes after party. The 20-year-old star apparently referred to the constant fights with Justin Bieber while holidaying in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Commenting on the reason for the break-up, a source was quoted saying, “Selena didn’t feel Justin was respectful of their relationship. She was constantly catching him in positions with other girls that would make her uncomfortable. She would get super jealous.” ‘Jelena’ fans would not be happy about the news, but Selena’s mother is reported to be relieved.
Life & Style magazine quoted an insider saying, “Selena and her mother are super close, and she doesn’t want Selena held back by Justin and all this drama. Her mom always thought the relationship was troubled.”
